Why use WPI (Whey Protein Isolate) over WPC (Whey Protein Concentrate)? Great question, as the information on the internet can certainly be confusing!
We use WPI as it is very low lactose and has a great amino acid breakdown, and also very high in glutathione (a super antioxidant) which many people have deficiency in. WPC still contains milk solids and lactose (which can be very problematic for many peoples digestion) making it much higher in carbohydrates and sugar (lactose) which we feel isn’t beneficial because this can effect your blood sugar and insulin levels leading to weight gain and longer term health issues.
